Now obviously there’s going to be plenty of food glorious food, So here’s a couple of yummy recipes for you to try. If you cook em please email me your pics for the food gallery

Leg of Lamb with Pears


  • 1 x leg lamb
  • 30ml olive oil
  • 300ml rose wine
  • 125ml pear liqueuer
  • 4 pears, quartered
  • head garlic
  • handful thyme
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 300g new spuds
  • serve with greens



  1. Score the lamb, rub with oil and season well
  2. Seal on all sides (about 3 mins each side)
  3. Transfer to a roasting dish and add everything else
  4. Cover with foil and roast at 150c for 3 hours
  5. Remove all the veg, uncover and roast 1 hour more
  6. Pour off the juices and reduce by about half
  7. Serve on a platter with the veg scattered around and the greens 


Boozy Coffee Cheesecake


  • Base – 225g crushed choc digestives
  • 150g melted butter
  • 750g cream cheese
  • 350g sour cream
  • 5eggs
  • 2tbs instant coffee (fine ground)
  • 50ml tia maria
  • 150g soft dark brown sugar
  • Sauce – tbs coffee
  • 100ml tia maria
  • 50g brown sugar
  • 50ml water

Serve with chocolate coated coffee beans and whipped cream.



  1. Mix the crushed biccies and butter, press into a lined 250ml spring form
  2. Pulse the topping ingredients
  3. Spoon onto the base. Bake at 150c for about an hour. Cool
  4. Boil the syrup ingredients til a little sticky
  5. Serve a good wedge with sauce, cream and coffee beans
